5 stars is not enough for this beautiful property! The Acorn Lodge offered everything we needed for a successful Halloween Weekend Retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene surroundings and the cozy atmosphere of the cabin. The attention to detail and the thoughtfulness put into every aspect of our stay truly made it a memorable and enjoyable experience. A couple of family members walked the trail for some extra excitement. We are already looking forward to our next visit and the opportunity to experience your hospitality once more.

We couldn't have asked for more out of the weekend at Acorn Lodge. What a special place. Everything was so well thought-out and combined to make some great memories for all that were there. The craftmanship of everything in the house and outside was perfect. Everything worked and worked well (and the instructions were clear everywhere). Things that were top-notch included the pool table, the firepit and supplies, the sauna, the comfortable furniture, the additional structures on the property, all of it was fantastic. I'm sure the piano was great as well (but we covered it up as there was going to be more harm than good in playing it, ha). All that said, the true magic was getting to be outside and explore the property. We can't wait to be back. We would have paid twice as much. Thanks again for everything - some of the best parts of the weekend were getting a chance to chat with the hosts! p.s. Next time we will be sure to sleep in the River House! -Luke

The Acorn Lodge was just like it was pictured but even better in person. It was spacious, clean, great ambiance, cozy fireplace, lovely woods surrounding the property. Wonderfully labeled light switches and tree light switch labeled so we didn’t have to guess. The master bedroom had an en suite bathroom. The bunkbeds on the lower level were queen sized. There was lots of space in the home to move around so comfortably. The hosts had great communication and were very welcoming and accommodating. We were incredibly grateful to have found such a perfect place!! Would rebook without hesitation. 10/10 recommend!!

My family had the opportunity to stay at the Acorn Lodge. We are so thankful for this beautiful home for us to rest in and enjoy during the time of my Mother’s passing. The home itself is complete and efficient for all of your needs. The setting is peaceful and the Hosts are kind. The only negative we could possibly share is: our family was only there for two nights. (smile) Our stay was peaceful and appreciated. We would highly recommend you and yours staying at The Acorn Lodge.

Linda and Robert are the kindest most welcoming hosts you'll find. They have a lovely home that is always 100% clean. My cousins and I have gone to this home two years in a row because we love it so much!

What you see is what you get…this place is beautiful! The amenities are too numerous to list. The place was immaculate, tastefully decorated, spacious and had everything we needed during our 3-day stay. We only went on a River walk once, the weather being a little warmer than normal made the trail a little muddy, but even that was beautiful! The kids loved the Adventure and the sites, and ran off some energy. Bob and Linda have thought of everything and are close by if assistance is needed. Also it’s an easy 35-minute drive to Frankenmuth. A++ Air BNB! Definitely recommend!

From the moment we began communicating with Bob and Linda they were kind, pleasant, quick to respond, and so accommodating. Our family of 13 gathered for our annual vacation and this home was the most beautiful and perfectly suited than any other property. To say they thought of everything is an understatement! The house was clean, cool, and Bob and Linda greeted us to give us a tour and show us how to work different areas of the house. The lights, air, sauna to name a few. The grounds were so beautiful- we enjoyed trips to the River house, to see the neighbors horses, and visit the tree house. Thankfully they were thoughtful enough to place bottles of bug spray all along the way, somehow knowing their guest may need it! There is plenty of seating inside and out, has a covered area to grill and a surprising bed swing in a screened porch. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home, property, and entrusting us to care for it as if it were our home.
